Machine Laboratories, L.L.C., founded in 1959 and an aggressively growing premier Swiss CNC shop is seeking candidates to fill a variety machinist positions in our expanding Lenexa, KS ( a suburb of Kansas City, Missouri) location. The company’s revenues have tripled within the last five years and the job base has doubled in the same time frame. With 200 machines from major manufacturers (Citizen, Nomura, Index) located on-site, we offer candidates the opportunity to work with the latest technology while producing real value for our customers. Candidates for this position carry the following job responsibilities:
- Perform tasks to manufacture parts on a variety of machines to meet customer and quality specifications.
- Provide feedback to sales and engineering on blueprints and production issues
- Handle changeovers without assistance
- Training of other machinists to meet company guidelines and requirements
- Handle machine adjustments and troubleshooting to meet productivity standards
Minimum requirements include:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Able to read and understand blue prints
- Working knowledge of measurement devices including but not limited to micrometers & calipers
- 3+ years experience setting up Swiss type automatic lathes
- Ability to relocate (Relocation Assistance is provided)
